2ND GRADE DONATIONS NEEDED:  Second grade will be making a toilet paper/paper towel roll bird feeder craft as part of our “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” unit.  This hands-on activity helps students learn how to care for the environment while helping our feathered friends.

To help make this project a success, we are asking for donations of the following items:

empty toilet paper rolls (clean and saved), empty paper towel rolls (cleaned and saved), peanut butter (or sunflower/almond butter as an alternative), bird seed, craft sticks/popsicle sticks, twine or string.

Students may drop their donations off, directly with their teacher.  We thank you so much for supporting our second graders and helping make this learning experience meaningful and fun!
